- Hi there! My name is Gabriel, and I am doing weather forecasting for living...In the past...aviation meteorologist in Romanian Air Force, between 1993 and 2002, as well as instructor of meteorology at Romanian Air Force Academy Henri Coanda- Brasov between 2002-2005. I moved in Canada in 2005, and from 2006 until 2011, month of January I was employed by Scotia Weather Services in Halifax, Canada as Operational Meteorologist. Since Jan 2011 I have been working for Australian Government TRYING to forecast the challenging weather across tropical side of "Down Under".
